Rasel Ahmed

About Rasel

Rasel is DevLon’s software engineer. He builds the websites we deliver on WordPress and Webflow and handles the technical side of our SEO work, from page speed to site structure. He has eight years of experience as a software engineer.

Experience

Alongside DevLon, Rasel works as a technology consultant on Digital Product Passport software, which keeps reliable product and material data available throughout a product’s life. He has contributed to seven EU Horizon research and innovation projects, including BASE on battery passports and JIDEP on industrial data exchange. He has also helped develop Digital Product Passport and Digital Battery Passport features for an established SaaS company. His portfolio is at raselahmd.com.

That work means building software that has to stand up to regulation and audits: data models, APIs, access control and integrations between business systems. He brings the same care to the websites and technical SEO he works on for DevLon clients. He reads the code, checks indexing and tests speed directly rather than relying on automated scores alone.

Technical skills

• Websites: WordPress and Webflow
• Front end: Next.js, React and Tailwind CSS
• Back end and APIs: Node.js, Express and TypeScript
• Data: PostgreSQL and data modelling
• Infrastructure: Kubernetes, Argo CD, Prometheus and Grafana

How he works

Rasel prefers small teams, clear goals and short feedback loops. He starts by understanding the problem and its constraints, then builds the simplest thing that will hold up once it is live. As with everyone at DevLon, you deal with him directly.
