This policy explains how devlon.co.uk uses cookies and similar technologies. It should be read with our Privacy Policy.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device. Similar technologies, such as your browser’s local storage, work in a comparable way. Some are needed for a website to work. Others are used for analytics or advertising and need your consent first.
The short version
We do not use analytics, advertising or social media cookies. The only cookies this website uses are ones it needs to work and to protect our enquiry form from spam, so we do not need to ask for your consent and you will not see a cookie banner.
If we ever add analytics or other optional cookies, we will update this policy and ask for your consent before setting them.
Cookies we use
_GRECAPTCHA
- Set by: Google (reCAPTCHA)
- Purpose: set when you start using our enquiry form, to help tell people from automated spam
- How long: up to 6 months
wordpress_logged_in_*, wordpress_sec_*, wordpress_test_cookie and wp-settings-*
- Set by: devlon.co.uk
- Purpose: only set for our own staff when they log in to manage the website. Visitors do not receive these.
- How long: from the end of the session up to 1 year
When reCAPTCHA loads, Google may also read cookies it has already set in your browser, for example if you are signed in to a Google account. Google explains this in its Privacy Policy.
Local storage
The page builder we use can save small technical settings in your browser’s local storage so that pages display correctly. This information stays on your device and is not used to track you.
Managing cookies
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The ICO’s guidance on cookies explains how. If you block the reCAPTCHA cookie, the enquiry form may not work. You can still email us at contact@devlon.co.uk.
